If you’ve been using Windows 10 for a while, you may have already noticed a slight bump in performance.
While the upgrade to Windows 8.1 was a massive boost in performance, it was only for a few hours and then returned to baseline in the next version.
The reason for the slowdown?
The new version of Windows 10 has a new update mechanism that doesn’t seem to support the Windows 10 Creators Update, which was rolled out to users in July.
Microsoft says the new version should be available in time for the holidays, but the company has not provided any details about how long it will take to roll out the update to all users.
We’ve asked Microsoft for more details on this new update and have yet to hear back.
In addition to the new Windows 10 update mechanism, Microsoft has also released a new Windows Update tool that allows you to disable Windows 10 entirely and install a fresh operating system.
The tool is also meant to help prevent any kind of virus from infecting your PC, as Windows 10 automatically detects any virus-infected files and prevents them from installing on your PC.
Microsoft is now offering the tool for free, but there are some caveats.
It will only work on Windows 10 Enterprise or Pro, meaning you won’t be able to take advantage of it if you’re a member of Microsoft’s Insider program.
Additionally, the new tool will only be available to Windows Insiders for a limited time, which means it won’t work with every Insider build of Windows.
Microsoft also says it’s planning to remove Windows 10 from Windows Update, a feature that’s been part of Windows since its inception.
The tool is currently only available to Insider builds of Windows, but Microsoft has announced plans to make Windows 10 Universal available to everyone.
If you’re looking to upgrade from Windows 7 or Windows 8, Windows 10 Home or Pro is a better choice.
The upgrade process will take a few minutes, and it will require no special settings to make it work.
However, if you don’t want to wait around for Microsoft to update Windows 10, the company’s latest build of the operating system is available for download for free.
Here’s how to get Windows 10.
You can download the latest Windows 10 build from the Windows Store.
Download Windows 10 Insider Preview.
To install the Windows Update driver, go to the Settings app on your Windows 10 PC and tap the Settings icon.
After the Windows update driver has been installed, click the Advanced button.
On the next screen, scroll down and tap Update Driver Software.
Select Windows 10 Fall Creators Preview.
The driver will now be installed on your computer.
Once the driver is installed, the Windows OS will automatically start installing updates and other updates.
If you’re using Windows 7, you can now upgrade to the latest version of the OS from within Windows 10 using the Start menu, or you can use the Start button to select the OS, select Windows 10 and then select Upgrade Now.
If you need to update, head over to the Windows Insider site and download the update.
