Italia is preparing to launch its first-ever online sale of computer accessories.
The online retailer will sell its first computer accessories catalogue on eBay starting on Monday, July 1, with the first item available for a one-time $9.95 (€8.60) fee.
The catalogue will offer computers, monitors, gaming peripherals, headsets and accessories for all the popular desktop, mobile, tablets and smart TVs in Italy.
The product catalog will be available on the eBay site for pre-orders and customers can place pre-order online through the store.
Italia’s new approach is to offer the products in a digital format, which means they will be downloadable as soon as they are available for sale.
This is a major step forward in the company’s effort to make its catalogue more accessible, said Andrea Tavello, the president of the Italian IT and e-commerce company, Computer Components.
“We’re doing it in a way that makes the catalogue available at a faster rate, with a digital interface and in a much easier to use way,” Tavella told SportItalia.
The new catalogue will be made available to users of the eBay platform for free.
It is part of an ongoing effort to develop its online catalogue and bring the products to its customers more quickly.
