Windows 10 is the biggest software upgrade to date and it’s the most popular operating system for most users, but if you don’t have a PC yet, you can install it now to get more out of the new operating system.
This article shows you how to get started with the Anniversary Update to the Windows Store.1.
Make sure you’re running Windows 10 64-bit (the version of the operating system that’s recommended for most people)2.
If you don´t already have a 64-Bit version of Windows 10 installed, download the Anniversary update and install it to the computer you want to use.
If this is a Windows 10 Pro or Pro Plus edition, you’ll need to install the 64-bits version of version 11 (ProPlus) or higher.
You can download this file here: Windows 10 Anniversary update downloads and installsTo install the Anniversary version, simply click on the Windows logo in the Start menu, type the command and press Enter.

If it’s Home or Education, choose either the Home or Pro edition.
If you’re on a 64 Bit computer, the operating systems will be installed in the same folder as the software you downloaded from the Windows store.
If the Windows version is Pro or Business, you’re done.
If the Windows release is Home or Enterprise and you want more features, you need to download the Pro version.2.
